We don’t do free estimates for electrical work because diagnosing the problem correctly takes time and tools. But we’re upfront about what things cost, and we don’t pad the bill once we’re done.
If your panel is full and you’re trying to add a circuit, yes, you need an upgrade. If your breakers trip constantly and you’ve already ruled out overloaded circuits, your panel might be undersized or failing. If your home inspector flagged it, there’s probably a reason.

Panel upgrades, service changes, new circuits, and any work that involves opening walls usually require a permit from the Village of Hinsdale. Replacing a breaker or an outlet typically doesn’t, but it depends on the scope of work.
